MUMBAI: Rajkumar Santoshi’s chief assistant director (AD) Manish Harishankar, will soon be donning the director’s hat.
Srivastav’s debut film is slated to go on floors shortly. The film will be produced by Vipin Anand’s Flagship India. The film is a comedy and will be shot in Mumbai and a village in Bhopal.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Srivastav said, “This is my first film and I am very excited about it. The script is ready and I will be starting shoot on the film soon.”
However, Srivastatv did not disclose the cast of the film. He said, “I am already in talks with some stars and things will be finalised in about 10 days. The film will star known names and not newcomers.”
“I will also be assisting Raj-ji on Power and Ladies and Gentleman,” he added.
Anand further said, “I can’t give much details about the film but all I can say is that if all goes well, we will go on floors as early as April.”
