MUMBAI: Fans of actor Rajnikanth celebrated his 60th birthday in Chennai on Saturday by offering special prayers in temples for his long life.
Posters of the actor adorned the walls in Chennai as well as other cities in the state.
However, Rajnikanth, was busy shooting for his upcoming film Enthiran, which also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.The film is directed by Shankar.
Rajnikanth made his debut with Kannada film Katha Sangama directed by Puttanna Kanagal and has acted in over 173 films that include Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Bengali films.
