MUMBAI: Ram Gopal Varma’s sequel to Sarkar will roll in June. The film stars Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan along with Aishwarya Bachchan.
A source from RGV’s production house informs, “Sarkar 2 will commence from June in Hyderabad. The film will mount the sets in the first week of June and the shooting is expected at D Rama Naidu studios and other locales of Hyderabad. Though Sarkar was inspired from the Hollywood film Godfather, the second part won’t be anything like Godfather 2.”
Sarkar 2 is now backed by Adlabs and is scheduled to release in early 2008.
