MUMBAI: Buoyed by the positive response to his existing 10 studios in the city, Baqar Naseer is set to open a new chain of his spinning studios Topspin at Bandra. Naseer already has 11 studios across India and aims to have 50 spinning studios by 2010.
Addressing a press conference to mark the completion of the 11th studio in India, Topspin chairman Naseer said, “In a short duration the studio has enrolled over 300 members who are satisfied with the comprehensive spinning programme.”
They offer tailor-made packages after taking into account the physical composition and history of their members. The studio has an expertise in weight training to prevent lifestyle diseases.
They have a qualified staff, including three physiotherapists and a dietician, and provide a range of services including weight management and strength training.
Riteish Deshmukh is a member of Topspin and graced the occasion. He said, “Exercise should be made a part of daily routine just like taking bath and eating breakfast. Working out for even half an hour four to five times a week will keep you fit.”
Baqar said that the spinning studio was the result of two years of extensive planning considering the stress factor which most of the Mumbaikars are facing now. “The spinning studio is one of the best among Topspins, which is equipped with high-end spinning equipments,” says Baqar.
“In terms of service, size and location, the new studio qualifies as a health club and is accessible to all health-seekers as the studio has been allied with fitness expert Leena Mogre,” he adds.
The evening saw Naseer and Deshmukh playing DJs to the crowd and the 21 trainers presented a few brilliant spinning workouts.
