MUMBAI: After the success of Krrish, Rakesh Roshan had plans to go ahead with the third part of Koi…Mil Gaya, completing the trilogy. Simultaneously, he wanted to make a big comedy film and wanted to rope in Rajkumar Hirani or Priyadarshan to direct the film.
The comedy was not to feature his son Hrithik Roshan. When these directors were not available, Roshan had decided to give a break to his assistant director Raj. However, the latest on that front is that Roshan has dropped plans of making both these films.
Filmkraft (Rakesh Roshan’s production company) CEO Shashank Jare confirms, “Possibly, the subjects did not appeal to him and he might have them on hold for some time. He is the best judge and has the right business acumen to decide on the production activities.â€ÂÂ
