MUMBAI: The producers of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ preponed their release date from June 15 to June 1 when Aamir Khan emptied the slot by postponing his ‘Talaash’ to November.
Coincidentally, or not, the lead star – Sonakshi Sinha’s birthday falls on the same day. Reports suggest that the film-makers chose the preponed date with this in mind.
“It makes me feel special considering the film comes a day before my birthday. It’s also the first big movie after the IPL. I am looking at it as an advance birthday present,” said Sonakshi, while shooting for a song in ‘Rowdy Rathore’.
