MUMBAI: Saregama India managing director Subroto Chattopadhyay has stepped down from his position at the company. Stepping into his shoes will be SabMiller marketing director Apurv Nagpal.
Confirming the development exclusively to Businessofcinema.com, Chattopadhyay says, "Apurv has excellent credentials and will make a great successor. He is slated to take up his post early next week."
Chattopadhyay, on the other hand, will be involved with Saregama India’s mother company RPG Enterprises and he will be looking over the transition.
Nagpal, 36, on the other hand, has been responsible for the products & brands of SABMiller India that includes Foster’s, Castle Lager, Haywards 5000, H2K, Haywards Black, Royal Challenge Premium Lager, Knock Out & the Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
Nagpal has national and international exposure of over 14 years across industries in consumer goods. He has been with companies like Procter & Gamble, British American Tobacco and Reckitt Benckiser.
As an avid movie buff, Nagpal also writes Hindi movie reviews on his blog.
