MUMBAI: After Neelkanta, director Sai Prakash has decided to remake Telugu hit film Kante Koothurme Kanu in Kannada.
Prakash has bought the remake rights to the film from Dasari Narayan Rao. K S R Doss will produce this film under the banner of Su Ku Arts. Says a source in Bangalore, “In Kannada, the title will be Hethre Hennanne Herabeku. The film is about the importance of the girl child in a family.”
Adds the source, “Sai Prakash is working on the screenplay to make it suitable for the Kannada audience. The cast and other details are yet to be finalised.”
