MUMBAI: Being Human, an initiative by Salman Khan Foundation in association with Gitanjali launched the Being Human Gold & silver coins today. It was launched by Bollywood star Salman Khan & Gitanjali group CMD Mehul Choksi.
Keeping in mind the joy of gifting combined with supporting a cause, Being Human gold coins were designed by Gitanjali group in association with the Salman Khan Foundation. The proceeds of the sales will support the underprivileged. Every gold coin holds a personal message from Khan as a token of gratitude to the consumer.
The event also saw Khan being weighed in Silver, as Dubai based businessman Vikram Jain had placed an order to buy Being Human silver coins equivalent to the actor’s weight.
Commenting on the launch, Choksi said, "Indians have a very special place in their hearts for gold and Indians also have a special place in their heart for movie stars. Now, we bring to you a gift that not only combines the two but also supports a good cause. Salman Khan is a man with a golden heart and one who never tires of doing charitable work and it gives me immense pleasure to be associated with the Foundation."
