MUMBAI: The Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor starrer Bodyguard will go on floors on 20 January, 2011.
Bodyguard is a remake of the Malayalam hit of the same name. The film will be produced by Khan’s sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
Katrina Kaif had earlier been approached for the film; however due to date problems she was unable to do the film and Kapoor was roped in for the role.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, a source close to the film confirmed, “Yes, the film is going on floors in January and pre-production work is going on in full swing at the moment.”
The film will be directed by Siddique.
