MUMBAI: In retrospect with the 1993 case Mumbai bomb blast case, actor Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced for six years’ imprisonment. The TADA court has held him guilty under Arms Act and the actor has also been fined Rs 25,000.
The judge cancelled Dutt’s bail but his lawyers plan to appeal to the Supreme Court.
Dutt will serve his sentence in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail and may leave for jail directly from the court. In 1993-94, Dutt already spent 16 months in jail.
The actor’s last film release was Shootout at Lokhandwala. Some of the other projects that he is acting in are: Dhamaal, Munnabhai Chale Amrika, Alibaug, Kidnap, Dus Kahaniyaan and Mr Fraud.
