MUMBAI: After the success of Partner, David Dhawan is gearing up to director yet again with UMP’s Hook Ya Crook.
Written by Rensil D’Silva, the award winning writer of Rang De Basanti, the film stars John Abraham in the lead and is set to hit the floors this October after Abraham concludes the shoot of Dharma Productions’ Dostana and YRF’s Kabir Khan film.
UMP senior vice president production Alpana Mishra says, "We are extremely happy with the way the script has shaped up. It’s a film that will keep the audience hooked from the word go. The team on the film is a great one – from David, John to Rensil and we are all raring to hit the floor with this one."
She added, "UMP has been extremely eager to associate with Dhawan and Hook Ya Crook was just the perfect platform to seal this relationship."
This is John’s second film with UMP after Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal.
