MUMBAI: The board of directors of music company Saregama India has approved the amalgamation of Saregama Films Ltd (SFL) with the company with effect from 31 March 2007.
SFL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saregama India, manages the production and distribution of films as also the production and exhibition of television software in regional languages.
The amalgamation is subject to the approval of the shareholders of both the companies and the sanction by the Kolkata high court, says a company release.
