Mumbai: Designer Satya Paul has sponsored clothes for Warner Bros. latest film production in India Saas Bahu aur Sensex.
All outfits of Lillete Dubey and Sharon Prabhakar are by Paul. Dubey carries the image of a cosmopolitan Saas wearing classic Paul saris such as the Polka, Tartan, Roselle and embroidered saris around her son’s wedding in the movie.
Prabhakar identifies with the character of a typical Punjabi woman in the aesthetically printed Satya Paul Salwar Kameezes. Masumeh Makhija adorns lehengas from Paul’s bridal collection for her wedding day.
Kirron Kher visited the Paul store at the Taj in Chandigarh early this September for a press conference. She was present at the store along with Puneet Nanda and Paul. Kher was wearing one out of her classic collection of Paul saris and on display at the store were the saris showcased in the film amongst the latest collection.
"This is the first time that Paul has sponsored clothes for a bollywood film. I am glad that they are distinctly identifiable in the film for their design element. Paul would be looking forward to do more such projects in the future."said Nanda.
