Seventymm bags three PC World Web Awards

Mumbai: Movie rental company Seventymm swept three awards at the recently held PC World Web Awards for the Best Indian Websites 2008. In the movie rental category, Seventymm won The Best Design, Best Technology Usage and The overall winner awards.

Web Chutney Studio vice president Rahul Nanda, who was also the jury member said, "The site scored because much more than being a movie rental site; it is also a movie-based social community site. This includes extra features like movie compatibility and ratings, celebrity quiz and wallpapers, videos, gossip and trivia. The site even has a provision for fan clubs."

"They even have a section devoted to what is hot in the theatres now. The clean and neat interface has a well-structured menu with comprehensive links that are easy to navigate. The use of tag clouds, Ajax, and layers further enhances the user experience," he added.

Seventymm founder and CEO Raghav Kher said, "With the increasing number of players entering the movie rental sector we are extremely happy to have received these awards. We believe in giving the best on movies; be it the choice, the convenience or the community to our customers and will continue to do so in the near future."
