Shah Rukh Khan honoured by Korean Government

MUMBAI: He was earlier honoured as Datuk by the Malaysian government and now actor Shah Rukh Khan has received an honour from the Korean government.

The Korean government conferred two honours on him, the first being a Black Belt Honorary in Taekwondo and the second is the title of an honorary ambassador for culture and tourism.

Delegates from the Korean government who have especially flown down from Delhi, conferred the honours on Khan in Mumbai.

In July this year, Khan was also nominated by an NGO Routes to Roots and presented an honorary doctorate in arts and culture by Bedfordshire University in London for his contribution to culture.
