MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan is undoubtedly Yash Chopra’s blue-eyed boy. For proof, try this. The climax of the untitled Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif film was to be shot in Kashmir.
It has now been shifted to Ladakh where Shah Rukh has shot earlier. Says a source, “They need a snow-capped landscape for the climax. Yashji loves the snow in Kashmir and has shot two of his most romantic films ‘Daag’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ in the snowscape of Kashmir. Since his new film is an out-and-out romantic film he initially contemplated shooting the climax in Kashmir.”
Apparently Shah Rukh came up with the idea of Ladakh where he had shot for Mani Rathnam’s ‘Dil Se’ and still has very fond memories of the place. Now instead of Kashmir the unit of Yash Chopra’s film will be heading for a ten-day climax shoot to Ladakh this winter. When asked about the venue being shifted from Kashmir Ladakh Yashraj’s official spokesperson confirmed, “The next schedule is in Ladakh.”
