>Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan released the music album of Tanuja Chandra’s forthcoming film Zindaggi Rocks on 23 August. This film has marked the entry of BAG Films into film production. The music of the film has been rendered by Aanuu Malik and the lyrics have been penned by debutant lyricist Mudassar Aziz. At the music launch of the film Sushmita Sen and Shiney Ahuja performed to the songs of the film. Singers Zubeen Ya Ali Garg, Tulsi Kumar, Javed Ali and Anushka Manchanda also performed live on the stage.
Zindaggi Rocks is a story about an extremely popular singer – Sushmita Sen, who falls in love with a doctor- Shiney Ahuja. A classic case of opposites attract, the film’s strength is purpotedly it’s emotional edge. Since Sushmita is a performer in the film, music forms more than just an element of Indian cinema. Says Aanuu, “In this film I have created not just foot tapping numbers but also heart tapping numbers. The album contains 6 songs and 2 remixes.”
Director Tanuja Chandra who’s known for her woman centric films hasn’t veered from her raison d’etre: “Zindagi Rocks
does not just portray the rights of a woman per se but also the celebration of a woman’s life. The social message I wanted to convey was that life should be lived to the fullest, no matter what and I believe I have done that; I have deep confidence in the quality of my films and their music.” “Shot in and around Mumbai, Zindaggi Rocks has been completed on a moderate budget of Rs 50 million (Rs 5 crore). It is scheduled to release by the end of September,” informed Anurradha Prasad, Producer, Zindaggi Rocks.
