MUMBAI: Film actor Shakti Kapoor has been roped in to play co-host to The Laughter Champions show on Star One.
Kapoor will keep cricketer turned anchor Navjot Singh Sidhu company in egging on the participants and offering the occasional one-liner. The revamped show commences its run from today (19 January) at 9 pm.
Kapoor confirms his presence on the show, saying, “Six new episodes of this humorous series have already been shot. Sidhu and I will lead two teams of six participants who will battle with their gags and spoofs that will have an urban flavour. The studio audience will give participants points that will decide who will be eliminated.”
