Mumbai: Actor Sharman Joshi has been shooting for his next film Ferrari Ki Sawaari at the Mumbai University campus.
The last film to get the permission to shoot on Mumbai University’s campus was Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 1942 A Love Story.
The reason behind acquiring this permission was because the Ferrari team was shooting a school children choir sequence that needed the University backdrop.
Mapuskar said, “It was like a dream come true to get a chance to shoot at the University campus and capturing the true essence of the heritage after so many years. Sharman was absolutely great and there was lot of positive energy on the sets and everyone was completely focused to do their best.”
Rajkumar Hirani has written the dialogues of the film, which is being directed by debutant Rajesh Mapuskar. The movie is produced by Chopra.
