Bollywood director Shashi Ranjan is currently in Lahore on a talent hunt to choose a young male actor, an actress and a singer for his new Indo-Pakistan feature film. Sources revealed that the response to the talent hunt was overwhelming, and the eager actors, actresses were talented and very enthusiastic. The age group for the young Pakistani lead was set between 19 and 25.
For the talent hunt, Shashi Ranjan has tied up with a leading cellphone company, Warid, and a major television channel, GEO. The talent hunt contest will be telecast live on May 20 in Pakistan and all the countries where GEO is beamed.
Ranjan is excited with recent increase in cooperation between India and Pakistan in the field of cinema and showbiz. “With my talent hunt and Akbar’s premiere, there is a lot of excitement about renewed relations between the two countries.
