MUMBAI: Actress Shraddha Kapoor has been appointed as the fresh face of Global Desi, which is designer Anita Dongre’s high energy fashion label.
Global Desi aims to combine the modern with the traditional and Kapoor, who has generated a buzz with her first two movies, will now stand for Global Desi’s vision – global style, Indian threads.
Having played a studious girl in her debut movie, Teen Patti and then a bubbly, teenage-girl character in Luv Ka The End, Kapoor is known for her ability to play diverse roles and fits Dongre’s Global Desi thought perfectly.
"The desi look with new-age styling. I love experimenting with colours," said Kapoor.
