MUMBAI: NDTV Profit’s new weekly show NextGEN will mark the television debut of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Nanda as a show anchor.
Nanda will host a 12-part interview series, which features 12 people below the age of 40, representing varied fields such as art, literature, sports, films, fashion and business.
The channel has readied two episodes including one with sarod players Amaan Ali and Ayaan Ali who incidentally are good friends with Nanda, who says,”Today’s youth has a go-getter attitude, and is confident, outspoken and ambitious. Hosting NextGEN gives me an excellent opportunity to connect with them.”
