In an upcoming episode of the Star Plus show, Shaan asks Sreeram to sing "Nadaan parindey" from the film "Rockstar", for his first performance.
"This year ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar’ is going to be really thrilling in many ways. The contestants are very dynamic and in a battlefield to emerge as superstars," said Shaan.
"I am very excited about all of them, especially Sreeram as we all have huge expectations from him. I wanted him to sing ‘Naadan parindey’ as he would render it beautifully in his velvet voice," he added.
Shaan is on the judges’ panel with lyricist Swanand Kirkire and composer Shantanu Moitra.
Sreeram, who hails from Hyderabad, says he has worked hard for his debut performance on the show.
"I am extremely nervous yet excited about my first performance, especially after a song that has been recommended to me by Shaan Dada. I have done a lot of riyaaz and hope to make him proud," he said.
The episode featuring Sreeram’s "Nadaan parindey" performance will air Saturday.
