MUMBAI: Commemorating the spirit of independence with its viewers, STAR Gold presents films to create a sense of patriotism within the audiences. STAR Gold will telecast an array of patriotic movies in an Independence Day special slot – Jashn-e- Azadi from 10 August to 14 August every night at 8 pm.

Flagging off the Independence Day special slot is the action drama Kurukshetra, on 10 August at 8 pm. Next in the action packed slot is Farz.

The struggle for freedom will continue with Kranti, aired on 12 august at 8 pm.

Zameen will be showcased on 13 August.

Drawing the Independence special slot to a close on 14 August will be the Sunny Deol Starrer Indian.
