MUMBAI: Star Gold will premiere the emotional blockbuster Apne on 16 March at 1 pm. Starring the three Deols—Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby—for the first time ever, Apne has been directed by Anil Sharma.
As a tribute to the Living Legend Dharmendra and the Deols, Star Gold has created a two-part special series Super Deols, which will be aired on 14 March at 2:30 pm and March 16 at 12:30 pm.
During the show, Punjabi kudi Divya Dutta will take the viewers through the lives of the Deols. She will not only host the two series but will also capture the journey of Dharmendra from Phagwara to Mumbai and the true spirit of Punjab with the Deols.
On hosting the special episode, Dutta, said, "I am honored to be a part of the special series –Super Deols on Star Gold. Dharamji for me has been a father figure and we have in the past worked together. We both hail from the same background and this entire concept is a great opportunity for me to present the inimitable Deols to the viewers in the most rare and uncut manner. I have enjoyed every moment of my time with them and I am hoping the viewers have as much fun."
