MUMBAI: Star Gold will be showcasing a slew of patriotic movies to commemorate
India’s 60th Republic Day.
The movies will be aired in the Satyamev Jayate slot. The two week long festival which will begin from 12 – 21 January will showcase movies like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Farz, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Apaharan, Khakee, Dum, Tarazu, Soldier and Kurukshetra amongst others.
On 26 January, Star Gold has lined up a special treat of movies which include Sarhad Paar – A New Dawn, The Hero – Love Story of a Spy and Qayamat.
The channel has also launched a contest during the movie, where viewers get a chance to win a motorbike by sending the correct option as SMS to the questions asked during the movie.
