MUMBAI: CASBAA’s long standing member Star India has upgraded its membership to patron status effective immediately.
"The Association recognizes the incredible development of the industry in India and Star’s upgrade in membership is a testament to CASBAA’s support and efforts to nurture the growth of the market in the region," said CASBAA chairman Marcel Fenez.

Partnering with CASBAA, we will continue to take the Indian broadcast industry to new and unparalleled heights."
As part of its patron member benefits, Star India will take a seat on the CASBAA Council of Governors, the leading advisory board for the Association, to discuss key industry issues and CASBAA positioning on such matters.
"Star India is a fixture in the multichannel TV industry in India and carries a wealth of experience and insights. Their representation on the CASBAA Council will undoubtedly be a great asset at the highest level of CASBAA governance," added Fenez.
