TalentTrove to invest $30 mn in Indian M&E; to launch chnl

MUMBAI: US based player in media and entertainment space, TalentTrove Inc. is planning to invest $30 million in India by 2011.

TalentTrove Inc. owns a global multimedia platform for talent and talent seekers and plans to make India as the Asian hub for talent hunt, content creation, film production and distribution. In addition, TalentTrove Inc. has plans to launch an entertainment television channel in India.

TalentTrove Inc. will invest $4 million towards its marketing and promotion efforts in India. The company plans to use a mix of on-ground events, shows and advertisements in first phase to make it more accessible across India.

TalentTrove Inc. vice president Jatinder Singh said, “India has a vast pool of untapped talent and with the growing online community, India also offers the largest internet audience in the world. TalentTrove Inc. will invest $ 30 million by 2011 to provide a platform to people to showcase themselves. TalentTrove will enter into talent hunt events, TV & Radio programming followed by publications, film production and distribution business in India.”
