MUMBAI: The video shoot of the song Jugni from Tannu Weds Mannu was scheduled for three days, however the entire shoot was completed in just five hours.
The shoot started late and the complete unit was sure that the stipulated three days will become four days. The unit was in for a surprise, though. Once the music started and the choreographer Saroj Khan got into action, the shots started getting canned in single takes.
Mika along with Kangana Ranaut feature in the video. The shoot that was to take three days eventually got wrapped in five hours. Singh says, “ Kangana matched freestyle Punjabi steps with me so well and reminded me of the typical girls from Chandigarh who can match anyone in dancing from across the globe. Kangana was a dynamo at dancing and it was so much fun shooting Jugni with her.”
Tannu Weds Mannu has been directed by Anand L Rai and produced by Vinod Bachchan
Shailesh R Singh and
Surya Singh. The film stars R Madhavan, Ranaut, Jimmy Sheirgill and Ravi Kissen among others.
The film is all set to hit theaters on 25February, 2011.
