MUMBAI: Director Tanuja Chandra, who is currently working on her next venture, which is a romantic film starring Rajeev Khandelwal, has now signed Vir Das for the movie.
It may be recalled that Businessofcinema.com was the first to report that work was already underway on Chandra’s next film.
Vir Das will soon be seen in Yash Raj Film’s Badmaash Company, which is directed by Parmeet Sethi and stars Shahid Kapur, Anushka Sharma and Chang. He will also be seen in Abhinay Deo’s Delhi Belly, which is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and stars Imran Khan and Kunal Roy Kapoor.
In Chandra’s film Vir Das and Rajeev Khandewal will joined in by a new female lead.
"Yes I have signed Tanuja’s next film. It is something very different from what I’ve done in the past. It is an author backed role and I can’t wait to start shooting for the film," Das said.
