MUMBAI: The BAFTA Awards will be telecast on PIX on 22 February, 2010. Often cited as the British equivalent to the Oscars, BAFTA is a British charity that host annual award shows for film, television, television craft and video games.
The LIVE telecast of the 2010 awards ceremony will air at 5. 30 am on 22 February followed by the prime time telecast at 9 pm on 22 February, 2010.
As part of the upcoming special, PIX has slated the BAFTA Movie-marathon which goes on till 21 February every night. The movie line-up has been exclusively selected from the BAFTA award winners of the previous years. The list includes Iris to be aired at 11.15pm on 16 February, Closer at 11 pm on 17 February, Gosford Park at 11. 15 pm on 18 February, Eastern Promises at 11. 15 pm on 19 February, Adaptation at11 00 pm on 20 February and Shallow Grave at 11. 15 pm on 21 February.
