The Darjeeling Limited to premiere in NYC

MUMBAI: Director Wes Anderson’s latest film The Darjeeling Limited starring Owen Wilson, will screen as the Opening Night Film of the 45th annual New York Film Festival on 29 September this year.

The film will later be released in New York theaters the following day and expand to theaters in other cities across North America throughout October.

Set in India, the Fox Searchlight film will also screen for competition at the 64th annual Venice Film Festival.

The Darjeeling Limited, also featuring Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman, is an emotional comedy about three brothers re-forging family bonds. The eldest, played by Wilson, hopes to reconnect with his two younger siblings by taking them on a train trip across the vibrant and sensual landscape of India.
