MUMBAI: Director duo Abbas – Mastan’s new film, Naqab is slated for a July 2007 release worldwide.
The film, produced by Tips, stars Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna and new find Urvashi Sharma. Pritam provides the film’s music.
Naqab is a romantic thriller based in Dubai. However, except for the suspense elements and the male leads, there is nothing in common between the filmmakers’ 2002 film Humraaz and Naqab.
In the film, a middle-class girl meets a rich boy, falls in love and gets engaged. Another middle-class boy arrives on the scene, thus making it a love triangle. All three have a past, which if unleashed, will shatter their lives. There is also a fourth element in the story, which monitors the three through a video camera.
