MUMBAI: Tisca Chopra is on a high these days. After completing her act in Aamir Khan’s debut directorial venture Taare Zameen Par, which is scheduled to release in December this year, the actor is busy doing a show for Star News called Main Hoon Na and also planning her own production venture.
Says she, "I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Taare Zameen Par. It is a rare story told in the most fascinating way. Working with Aamir Khan has helped me understand the medium in a much better way. I respect the way he approaches work."
This is not the first time that Chopra would be acting in a film. She has earlier been part of films like Hyderabad Blues 2, Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan, Sau Jhooth Ek Sach and Cape Karma. She also acted in serials like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Sarkar.
Speaking about her current show she adds, "The show, which is about consumer grievances has struck a popular chord with the audiences since I mediate on behalf of the consumers. Moreover I love the concept of the show as it provides a platform for people to vent out their grievances, be it social, legal or corporate."
The actor is also keen on starting her own production house. She says, "I want to make my own programmes. Though I’m still trying to detail my plans, but I would love to make content for TV and the big screen as well," she ends.
