MUMBAI: Eros International and Illuminati Films have released the trailer of “India’s first ever zombie film” titled ‘Go Goa Gone’.
Directed by the duo of Raj Nidimoru – Krishna D.K. and produced by Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Lulla and Dinesh Vijan… we have to admit – the trailer is “bloody” hilarious!
This “zom-com” as the makers are calling it, features Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Puja Gupta.
The trailer begins with two friends, who are living a pretty screwed up life. Wishing to take an escape from their daily grind, they join a mutual friend on a trip to the sun-kissed Goa. When they arrive they encounter… Zombies!
Saif Ali Khan enters… claiming to be a Russian mafia boss who hunts down this “phirang phenomenon” called zombies. This begins the bunch’s comical adventure of survival.
Music by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics like “Khoon choos le re, mera khoon choos le” go a long way to make this Zom-Com a hit!
The dialogues are hilarious, especially the one where Saif admits to not really being a Russian. Delhi Belly’s Vir Das is another added attraction, which surely has us waiting for Go Goa Gone’s release on 10 May, 2013!
