The trailer of the film was launched in a different way unlike other films. It was launched in an open maidan at Worli.
Despite the presence of stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, the crowd went gaga over Prabhu Deva. Prabhu on public demand was asked to show his dance moves. Prabhu danced with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha as the crowd applauded his act with claps and whistles and cheers.
Akshay Kumar, who is making a comeback in his action zone with "Rowdy Rathore" said he feels like a newcomer again.
"I am very excited about the film because I am making a comeback in action films after seven years. I am in this film industry because of my action films. It feels like I am a new comer who is trying action for the first time," Akshay Kumar said.
Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. The film is scheduled to release on June 1, 2012.
