MUMBAI : Singer-presenter Udit Narayan has launched a website, www.kktilu.com, for his second Bhojpuri production, Kab Kahaba Tu I Love You.
Narayan claims that it is the first ever website for a Bhojpuri film. “Today Bhojpuri cinema is at par with Hindi cinema and it too is going global. Having a website for the film is helpful for those who want to know more about the film. It helps to develop business too,” he says.
The film has been nominated in all the categories for the Bhojpuri film awards which to be held on 25 March 2007 in Mumbai. Budgeted at over Rs 10 million (Rs one crore), the film has been dubbed in the Rajasthani language too.
Kab Kahaba Tu I Love You, made under the banner of U D Movies, has been scripted by the film’s producer Deepa Narayan Jha. It is directed by Annand D Ghatraj and stars Amar Upadhyay, new find Gul, Mahesh Raja, Shivam Tiwari and will feature Yukta Mookhey as an item girl for the first time in Bhojpuri films.
