MUMBAI: Vashu Bhagnani is returning to Bollywood after a year long hiatus with a film that will launch his son Jacky.
The love story, to be directed by Ajit Pal, will feature a leading actress opposite Jacky and is likely to go on the floors soon.
“Yes, this is my first film after Shaadi No. 1, and I plan to launch Jacky in a big way. It is too early to disclose the details as we are still finalising the script. I may even commence work on two films, simultaneously,” says Bhagnani.
Shaadi No. 1, which starred Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Ayesha Takia, Esha Deol and Soha Ali Khan, did not fare too well at the box office..
Bhagnani has made a string of films with the ‘No. 1’ tag, beginning with Coolie No.1, and has thus far made 14 films.
