MUMBAI: Venus’ next film, which is tentatively called Bullet Train, will go on floors by the first week of September.
The film will be directed by Priyadarshan and will star Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Suniel Shetty, Kangana Ranaut and Sameera Reddy. Besides them, either Boman Irani or KK Menon will also be a part of the cast.
The film is an action thriller and will be shot in the UK. The first schedule is for 45 days beginning first week of September and the second schedule will also be in the UK in January, 2011.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Venus managing director Ratan Jain said, “The film will go on floors in the first week of September. We are still working on the title of the film. Bullet Train is just the working title, since the train is a very important part of the film. The music of our film is by Pritam and we have a British DOP – Richard Butlan and also a British action director as part of our crew.”
The film is slated to release in the summer of 2011.
