MUMBAI: Legendary actress Bina Rai, wife of veteran actor Prem Nath passed away last night due to cardiac attack.
Bina Rai was a leading actress primarily of the black and white era of Hindi cinema. She is most known for her roles in classics such as Anarkali (1953) and Taj Mahal (1963). She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film, Ghunghat (1960).
Bina and Prem Nath together acted in the film Aurat. Prisoner of Golconda, Samunder and Watan were some of the famous contributions by the pair in the Indian film industry.

The funeral will be held on Monday, 7 December, at Banganga in Mumba
