MUMBAI: Viacom18 has promoted Ferzad Palia and Jaideep Singh as Vh1 head and MTV India national head – sales respectively.
Palia, among the start up members of Vh1, has led marketing and content for Vh1 till date. As the channel head, Palia will now be responsible for all functions of the channel and will report into Viacom18 Group CEO Haresh Chawla.
Singh has been with Viacom18 for close to 4 years and was heading sales for MTV for North and East. As the National Sales head for MTV, Singh will now be responsible for not only driving MTV sales revenues across all markets; but also its pan-regional sales for the brand. Singh will continue to report into Aditya Swamy, MTV India senior vice president – marketing & sales.
