MUMBAI: Vikramjit Roy has joined the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), as head of production.

Prior to joining he was with Mahindra & Mahindra’s entertainment arm Mumbai Mantra as head of marketing and promotions. In his new position, Roy will report to NFDC managing director Nina Lath Gupta.

Roy said, “National Film Development Corporation of India gives me a wonderful opportunity to synergize with their efforts in developing a rich and diverse portfolio of films from across India. I am delighted to be a part of such a prestigious Institution. Cannot think of a better paradigm shift.”

Before joining Mumbai Mantra, Roy was with Sony Pictures Entertainment India for more than a decade as head of publicity and talent relationships.
