MUMBAI: Vinay Pathak’s film Dasvidaniya was screened at the Cottbus – Festival of East European Cinema and its 20th Anniversary Celebration.
Dasvidaniya was screened as an Indian film production – for the very first time in the now 20 years history of the Cottbus film festival – otherwise entirely devoted to Eastern European cinema.
Director of the film Shashant Shah was invited as a member of the International Festival Jury 2010 to present his work in person to the festival audience as well as the media.
Pathak, who plays the main lead in the film, also attended the festival along with Shah. Shah’s second film, Chalo Dilli is in production presently and has Pathak as the lead once again.
