Mumbai: Sudhir Agarwal has been appointed as CEO of Essel Group’s multi-system operator (MSO) Wire and Wireless (India) Limited.
Prior to this, Agarwal was with Haier Telecom as president – India and SAARC. Agarwal brings with him over 18 years of experience in commercial and marketing management with companies like Motorola, Bharti Televentures, Xerox Modicorp and Philips.
Agarwal succeeds Deepak Chandnani who resigned from the services of the Company and is in the process of being relieved.
Essel Group chairman Subhash Chandra said, "Agarwal’s leadership skills and consumer orientation will build on the lead that WWIL has already created in the industry and further boost growth plans of the company while ensuring high standards of service excellence and satisfaction for customers, channel partners and other stakeholders."
