MUMBAI: Yash Raj Films and multiplexes have reached middle ground over revenue share terms for Filmkraft Production’s Krazzy 4 that will be releasing on 11 April.
The terms have been agreed upon at 48:52 and 38:62 (YRF:Multiplexes) percent revenue share for the first two weeks for Bombay city. On the other hand, the terms for the first two weeks for other cities at 50:50 and 40:60 (YRF:Multiplexes) percent revenue share.
Previously Yash Raj was looking at 50:50 and 45:55 percent revenue share for the first two weeks for Bombay city. For other cities, YRF was looking at 50:50 for the first two weeks.
Moreover, Yash Raj Films was also keen on finalizing revenue sharing terms for all its 2008 releases together, which includes Krazzy 4, Tashan, Kunal Kohli’s untitled films, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Roadside Romeo and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. However, currently terms have only been resolved for Krazzy 4. The terms for the other films will now be looked into before the release of Tashan on 25 April.
Krazzy 4 stars Juhi Chawla, Irrfan Khan, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Suresh Menon, Rajat Kapoor and Dia Mirza. It has special song appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Advance booking for the film will open at multiplexes on Wednesday.
Krazzy 4 is directed by Jaideep Sen and produced by Rakesh Roshan’s Filmkraft Productions. It is being distributed by Yash Raj Films in all Indian territories except Delhi UP, Punjab and Bengal.
