MUMBAI: Actor Zakir Hussein, who portrayed the role of Mumbai bomb squad chief Nand Kumar Chowghule in Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday, is playing a negative character in a Tamil film.
Says Hussein, “I have signed a Tamil film Lee, where I play the main villain. Like Black Friday, it’s a social film. This too is another true to life role, inspired by a real life character. It’s more challenging than a pure fictional character, because you cannot improvise on the getup or body language. You need to adapt to the best of your abilities.”
