Mumbai: Darsheel Safary alongwith the winners of Din Mein Taare Gino contest will celebrate the occasion with their participation in the games of Dahi Handi organized by Zee Cinema. Darsheel Aala Re, a special half an hour episode will be telecast on Janmashtami at 12 noon.
Zee Cinema business head Mohan Gopinath said, "Initially we had decided only to facilitate a meet with Safary for the winners as gratification but later looking at the encouraging response from the audiences and with the Summer Festival delivering outstanding results, we decided to shoot an entire episode with the winners. The theme of Dahi Handi was conceptualized keeping the festive season in mind and what better way to celebrate Janmashatmi by playing Dahi Handi with the naughty and talented star?"
Safary said, "It was great fun shooting with so many new friends. The entire experience reminded me of the shooting of my movie. We had a lot of fun while shooting and the games were very exciting and funny. We could not stop laughing at each other while trying to perform the tasks. Also, this was the first time I had interacted with kids from the other parts of the country. I am thankful to Zee Cinema for letting me meet all of them."
