MUMBAI: Subhash Chandra’s Zee Entertainment Enterprises will be acquiring INX Media’s Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) 9X.
The company’s board has in principle approved the acquisition of 9X business from INX Media by way of a scheme of arrangement. 9X’s channel business will be demerged from INX Media and will vest with Zee Entertainment Enterprises.
Zee’s board will meet on 29 April to consider the terms of the scheme, share swap ratio, and appointed date.
