Shamitabh: With a star cast including Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, Shamitabh performed very poorly. Less promotional activities and relatively unknown stars like Dhanush and debutant Akshara Haasan can be the reason as well. Shamitabh’s budget was Rs. 45 crores net approx but it only collected Rs. 19 crores net approx which is not even half of what was spent.
